Last week's NECCL round 10 (see previous blog post) marked the end of the regional '22/'23 cyclocross season and the road racing season is already just around the corner.
It starts with the popular Velo29 Winter Series on the excellent Croft Motor Circuit. The series consists of 6 almost weekly events starting on Saturday the 14th of January and finishing on the 25th of February.
Velo29 explicitly state "Newcomers are most welcome. We have a lot of people new to racing giving it a go in the Winter Series."
We are aware of a few club members giving it a go this year. We would like to wish you the best of luck and most of all we hope you have a lot of fun, the type B kind of fun, you know what we mean ;)
Maybe you would like to give it a go too or since Croft Circuit is just around the corner from Darlington, just head over to have a look.
For all who want to know more, full details can be found on the Velo29 website: https://velo29events.com/races/winter-series/
